To do that, you also need to use the type tool from the left corner bar of Photoshop.
You can find it in the left sidebar of the Photoshop software or press the key T.
After pressing the key T, you will see the new text box on your screen.
If you want to add a bullet point in that text box, you need to press Alt+0+1+4+9 for a windows pc.
